Student Leadership
AAPI Legacy Project is organized as student-led service under Project Next Foundation. Chapters in Orange County, defined board roles, and volunteer pathways keep the work accountable, local, and repeatable rather than symbolic.
The project exists to help immigrant children integrate into new communities while raising awareness of diverse histories among local American students. Students lead lesson development, storytelling, outreach, and chapter growth as shared responsibility rather than a single spokesperson model.
Founder
Helps launch the project, connect student chapters, and keep Asian American history education tied to immigrant belonging and community service.
Board chairperson
Keeps meeting notes, agendas, and follow-through visible for the whole team.
Treasurer
Tracks fundraising plans, donor communication, and responsible budget use.
Crean Lutheran High School chapter lead
Coordinates the first Orange County chapter model for lesson delivery, story gathering, and local outreach.
Curriculum volunteer lead
Supports lesson development, classroom-ready materials, and teacher handoffs.
Multimedia and outreach lead
Helps students publish stories, social outreach, and public library programs.
